Micheal J. Hartery – Luthier

A Massachusetts native, Michael Hartery originally got his start in music as an orchestral musician. He holds a BM from Manhattan School of Music and MM from the University of North Texas. His musical life ultimately brought him to the world of restoring and building instruments of the violin family.

Whether it is a violin, viola, or cello, Michael Hartery’s studio in West Concord is where he dedicates his time to renewing the love affair between an instrument and the musician who plays it.
