Potager Soap debuted in 1999 with our Potager Pure line of vegetable oil bar soaps. After nearly 20 years and following the birth of Eloise, suddenly pure was not good enough. As my daughter diligently sourced out ingredient lists to make sure that the products she used on her baby were safe, at Potager we began reexamining our ingredient list. Potager soap was always crafted with natural ingredients, but we decided we could do better.

Out of her search The Potager Promise was born…CLEAN SOAP…NATURALLY!

Potager soap is handcrafted, vegan, cruelty free and formulated with a limited ingredient list including:

• Organic Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Shea Butter (The base oils which are saponified in the soap making process)
• Organic Essential Oils for scent and aromatherapy
• Organic Herbs and Botanicals are compounded and added to nourish the skin.
• Sodium Hydroxide – not organic but on the USDA list of approved substances used in organic products. None is left in the final product.
• Purified Water
